Also this year we went to browse at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, where are shown the new products that will influence the trends in design. Many reconfirm and as many novelties: particular attention to materials with a rediscovery of wood and an ascent of marble. Walnut is certanly the dominat essence, often combined with metals such as brass, bronze and copper. Wood and marble then mate to velvet coverings with elegant and refined results. Minimalism is a distant memory: the rooms heat up, not only thanks to the materials, but also through multiple shades of color. Soft and refined tones like pink and green recur, especially in the shades of sage. It's evident that a return to convivial atmospheres is increasingly, making the house a welcoming and relaxing place. Among the things we like the most, we want to point out the Grid system by Molteni, a modern boiserie that, together with freely positioned elements, allows to create solutions for the living area, the study and the night area. At Poltrona Frau we were fascinated by Clayton, a sofa with pure lines and a special three dimensional leatherwork that makes it look like a sophisticated haute couture creation. We also point out Chamfer, the new and welcoming sofa designed by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso, the Icon bed by Flou, whose masculine character is refined by the important textile component, and Zanotta's Noli chair, a modern interpretation of the classical Ligurian chair. From the world of kitchens we point out Prime, the new kitchen from Dada and the world's premiere by Miele: the Dialogo oven. All news that you will soon find in our showroom.
